Internal Medicine Veterinary Assistant Position

The CARE Centre is on the lookout for a full-time Veterinary Assistant dedicated to internal medicine. In this position, you will be integral to the clinical team, providing daily support alongside veterinarians and AHTs. You’ll care for pets by ensuring their comfort and cleanliness while assisting with medical tasks throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize restraint techniques during treatments and assessments

• Help collect samples and provide radiographic assistance

• Ensure pets receive emotional and physical comfort

• Keep treatment areas and equipment organized and clean

• Handle essential administrative duties like client follow-ups

Requirements:

• Experience in veterinary environments is preferred

• Capable of multitasking effectively

• Strong interpersonal skills for cohesive teamwork

• Self-motivated and energetic demeanor

• Flexibility for various shifts and on-call support
