Reporting directly to the University Veterinarian, the Post Approval Assurance Coordinator plays a crucial role in administering the Post-Approval Assurance (PAA) Program. You will assist in compliance monitoring across multiple committees, participate in assessments, and ensure quality control for animal care practices under CCAC guidelines. Collaboration with veterinarians, animal care staff, and research teams is key to maintaining high ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of the Post-Approval Assurance Program
• Document post-approval assurance activities and findings
• Report non-compliance to relevant authorities
• Coordinate logistics for site visits and inspections
• Participate in annual site assessments for animal care facilities
Requirements:
• Minimum BSc in life science or Registered Veterinary Technologist
• Three years of experience in animal research compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and animal management software
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ethical standards in animal care
