This role offers flexibility and the chance to work with honey bee hives while educating communities about bees.

Alvéole is seeking passionate urban beekeepers to maintain hives and engage with the public. As a contractor, you’ll execute hive care tasks, perform inspections, and participate in educational workshops promoting biodiversity. This role supports your independence while connecting you to a wider beekeeping network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain bee hives on a three-week service cycle

• Perform routine hive inspections and maintenance

• Manage honey harvest with a target yield

• Facilitate workshops on bees and biodiversity

• Collect field data to monitor hive health

Requirements:

• Hands-on beekeeping experience with hive health

• Ability to work independently on a flexible schedule

• Strong organizational skills for record-keeping

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Comfort with beekeeping hazards and physical demands
