Full Time Animal Care Attendant CHS

Care for animals at Calgary Humane Society as a full time Animal Care Attendant. Provide exemplary care, comfort, and enrichment while maintaining a clean environment for all animals.

In this position, you'll report to the Manager of Animal Services and Integrated Care ponsibilities include ensuring sanitary conditions, observing animal behaviors, and collaborating with various departments for successful outcomes. Your experience with animals will support their welfare and help maintain a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in all animal housing areas

• Provide food, water, and enrichment as per guidelines

• Observe and report signs of health issues

• Assist in animal movement and record-keeping

• Support daily behavior enrichment programs

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• One year of animal-related experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely

• Comfortably handle various animal species
