As a Utility Arborist Apprentice/Driver with Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, your main duties will include driving to various locations and assisting in tree pruning and removal. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain practical experience and knowledge in arboriculture and tree care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive commercial vehicles to job sites safely

• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections

• Actively participate in tree pruning and removal tasks

• Operate tools like chainsaws and chippers safely

• Assist crew leader with job setup and cleanup tasks

Requirements:

• Valid AZ or DZ provincial driver's license

• Experience or education in Landscaping or Horticulture

• Willingness to work towards Arborist certification

• Strong identification skills for trees and shrubs

• Capability to lift and carry weights of 50 lbs
