Opportunities are currently available to enjoy the fresh air and incredible views in a stunning national park setting this winter while “Taking Care of Banff” by working with our Municipal Parks team to make our sidewalks, stairs, and trails safe and enjoyable for the public.
As a winter seasonal labourer with the Park Services team, your duties will include:
- Sanding and snow/ice removal from bus stops, crosswalks, and sidewalks
- litter picking
- cleaning BBQ grills and recreation areas
- stocking firewood
- delivering equipment for special events
The rate of pay for this position is between $22.00 and $24.00 per hour depending on experience. This contract will start October
20,2026 at the earliest and will end on May1,2027. Working four 10-hour shifts (6am-4pm) a week will leave you 3 days off each week to enjoy all that winter in Banff has to offer. This position may lead to a Summer Seasonal Labourer contract or potentially a permanent role for the right candidate.
