• Valid Alberta Authorized Assistant Pesticide Applicator License
• In-depth knowledge of local weeds, pests, and turf diseases
• Strong commitment to environmental safety, chemical handling protocols, and provincial regulations
• Ability to maintain detailed spray logs and digital application records
• Clean driving record and the ability to operate a truck and trailer
• Physical stamina to navigate large properties and handle equipment in various weather conditions

This position is responsible for carrying out a high standard of work relating to the Property Maintenance division at Peter Hughes Landscape. This work includes, but is not limited to, integrated pest management (IPM), broadleaf weed control, vegetation management, and grass cutting.

• Apply pesticides and herbicides following established safety guidelines and environmental regulations
• Calculate and mix chemical solutions based on specific requirements, dependent on the target species
• Keep detailed records of pesticide and herbicide applications, including quantities used and locations treated
• Drive trucks with an attached trailer
