Alvéole is seeking hands-on beekeeping experts to maintain hives at client sites. You'll conduct hive inspections, manage honey harvests, and facilitate educational workshops about biodiversity. This role allows beekeepers to work independently while connecting with their communities and promoting sustainability through engaging experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain hives on a three-week service cycle
• Install new hives and related equipment
• Conduct detailed hive inspections and maintenance
• Manage honey harvests targeting 30 pounds per hive
• Facilitate workshops to educate about beekeeping
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of hive health and seasonal management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license and vehicle access
• Comfort with digital tools for logging visits
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights
