HSE Compliance Specialist - Nightshift Role

FET is hiring an HSE Compliance Specialist for night shifts at our Calgary facility. Help drive a culture of safety and regulatory compliance throughout operations.

As an integral member of the night shift team, you will collaborate with the HSE Manager to assess risks and provide guidance on safety measures. This role requires a seasoned professional with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. You’ll conduct training sessions, audits, and ensure adherence to OH&S legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and evaluate safety documentation for compliance

• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses

• Provide necessary training for new hires and existing staff

• Promote and implement safety programs and controls

• Facilitate safety meetings and tracking of action items

Requirements:

• 5+ years of HSE experience

• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective leadership and communication skills

• Forklift or overhead crane experience considered an asset
