The Role

The Quality Control Inspector provides support in bringing quality, engineering and safety system support to the Quality Manager for the Calgary location and plays a key role in ensuring the company effectively and efficiently delivers quality on‑time products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete all applicable quality records.
  • Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records.
  • Conduct and report on inspection and testing to conform to industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Receive purchased products and verify against purchase order requirements.
  • Receive customer‑supplied products and verify against customer requirements.
  • Complete in‑process inspections as required.
  • Complete final inspections as required.
  • Work in accordance with the quality management system.
What You Bring
  • Post‑secondary education in mechanical or engineering technology is considered an asset.
  • Experience with receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control.
  • Minimum 2 years of computer experience.
  • 3 months’ experience with bending processes, materials knowledge, shop procedures.
  • Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time and handle heavy parts.
  • Must be competent with mathematical and geometrical calculations.
