The Quality Control Inspector provides support in bringing quality, engineering and safety system support to the Quality Manager for the Calgary location and plays a key role in ensuring the company effectively and efficiently delivers quality on‑time products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Complete all applicable quality records.
- Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records.
- Conduct and report on inspection and testing to conform to industry standards and customer specifications.
- Receive purchased products and verify against purchase order requirements.
- Receive customer‑supplied products and verify against customer requirements.
- Complete in‑process inspections as required.
- Complete final inspections as required.
- Work in accordance with the quality management system.
- Post‑secondary education in mechanical or engineering technology is considered an asset.
- Experience with receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control.
- Minimum 2 years of computer experience.
- 3 months’ experience with bending processes, materials knowledge, shop procedures.
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time and handle heavy parts.
- Must be competent with mathematical and geometrical calculations.
