To support its growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add a Quality Inspector to the team. This role is based out of our 2234 Portland Street location in Calgary, AB.

• Performing assessments on incoming materials and outgoing products.
• Reviewing plans, schedules, blueprints, and specifications to understand the design requirements of products.
• Ensuring that procedures are set to achieve quality standards.
• Performing detailed final inspections of products prior to shipment, including the documentation and reporting on non-conformances. Ensuring final products meet all engineering standards.
• Documenting inspection findings and completing reports and performance records.
• Ensure quality control and technical standards are adhered to and performance metrics are met.
• Educating the Production Team on quality control processes, concerns, and standards of product quality.

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to apply sound knowledge and best practices of quality principles.
• Dedication to continuous improvement.
• Proficient problem solving and critical decision-making skills.
• Experience in a metal fabrication facility will be considered an asset.
