Laboratory Technician - Hydrocarbon

Position: Laboratory Technician A - Hydrocarbon
Please note, for this position occasional  evenings and weekend  availability is required.

What you will be doing:

Operate instruments such as  GC-FID ,  GC-TCD , and  GC-SCD .

Perform samples, reagents, and calibrations preparations as directed.

Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshooting as necessary.

Data Management & Quality Assurance

Compile, verify, and validate data records.

Ensure quality assurance standards and turnaround times are met, following all SOPs and QC guidelines.

Reporting & Documentation

Report and document results accurately and in a timely manner.

Perform basic analysis.

Report results.

Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

Post-secondary education with a Chemical degree/diploma or equivalent experience.

Previous work lab experience is an asset, training will be provided.

Experience in  GC  & general lab skills is essential.

Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Attention to detail with good organizational skills.

Basic computer skills.

Team player with the ability to work in a positive manner in a fast paced environment.
