Rotating Equipment QA​/Inspection Engineer

I am working with a key Oil & Gas producer client who are seeking a Rotating Equipment Inspection Engineer to join their Calgary team on a long term contract basis.

The Senior Rotating Equipment QA/Inspection Engineer is responsible for overseeing vendor manufacturing, inspection, testing, and documentation for rotating equipment purchased under project purchase orders. This role ensures all equipment meets project specifications, quality requirements, and contractual obligations through disciplined vendor surveillance, technical review, and inspection coordination.

  Distribute inspection findings, signed ITPs, and surveillance reports to project tea
• ms.

  Strong knowledge of rotating equipment: pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, seals, bearings, lubrication syst
• ems.
  
  Experience with ITPs, FAT/SAT, QA/QC processes, NCRs, and vendor document at
• ion.
  
  Ability to interpret engineering drawings, datasheets, and specificati
• ons.
  
  Strong communication skills for interfacing with vendors, TPIs, engineering, and supply ch
• ain.
