As a Field QA/QC Specialist at Alstar Group, you will use your CWB Level 2 Certification and 2+ years of quality control experience in the oil and gas sector. You’ll conduct dimension and visual inspections, prepare documentation for tests, and collaborate with other trades in our facility. Safety is our priority, and we value your commitment to best practices in every task.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete visual and dimension inspections of welded structures
• Record welders' data on drawings and travel sheets
• Prepare documentation for pressure tests and inspections
• Coordinate with inspectors and contractors for compliance
• Perform Quality Control paperwork accurately
Requirements:
• CWB Level 2 Certification is required
• 2+ years of Quality Control experience needed
• Common Safety Orientation ticket necessary
• Strong understanding of ASME and CSA codes
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions and lift up to 60lbs
