Description

DV8 Energy is seeking a QA & QC Manager to lead and elevate quality across all products, systems, and field deployments. In this role, you will oversee inspections, enforce quality standards, and drive continuous improvement to ensure every solution we deliver is reliable, safe, and field-ready.

This is a hands‑on leadership position that combines technical expertise, team mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and field teams to establish robust quality processes and set the standard for excellence across the organization.

Your Background
  • Technical Expertise:
    Hands‑on experience with industrial electrical systems, motor control panels, instrumentation, automation, and IIoT solutions. Familiarity with inspection, testing, non‑conformance reporting, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Leadership & Management:
    Proven ability to lead and mentor a quality team, implement quality management systems, and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Regulatory & Standards Knowledge:
    Experience ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISO 9001, API, IEC) and electrical/field safety regulations.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, proactive mindset, excellent communication, and ability to make high‑impact decisions under pressure.
  • Operational Awareness:
    Comfortable engaging with engineering, operations, supply chain, and field teams to ensure practical, reliable, and scalable quality solutions.
Responsibilities
  • As Quality Control (QC) Manager, you will build and champion a best‑in‑class quality culture across product development, manufacturing, field readiness, and customer delivery. Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to DV8 Energy’s products, services, and field environments.
  • Define, document, and enforce quality control procedures, inspection criteria, and acceptance standards for hardware, assemblies, and integrated systems.
  • Oversee inspection, testing, and verification activities across engineering, manufacturing, and field operations.
  • Lead root cause analysis for non‑conformances and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, API, IEC).
  • Manage and mentor the quality team; coordinate quality training and certification efforts.
  • Develop and monitor quality metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators.
  • Support cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Success teams.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and ensure readiness for compliance reviews.
  • Prepare quality reporting for senior leadership and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading QC functions, processes, and teams.
  • Experience implementing or managing quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of inspection, testing, non‑conformance reporting, and corrective action processes.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and team building capabilities.
  • Ability to work across technical, operational, and field teams.
  • Certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, CQE/CQA are a plus.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and ability to manage documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years’ experience in quality assurance and quality control, ideally in energy, industrial automation, manufacturing, or related sectors.
