Specialist, Integrated Management System
The Opportunity
As a Specialist, Integrated Management System, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of WSP Canada’s HSSEQ management system documentation and assurance processes, helping teams apply requirements consistently across sectors, projects, and business practices.
Your Impact- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Corporate HSSEQ Management System documentation to support effective implementation and programme performance.
- Maintain alignment and traceability between HSSEQ requirements, sector documentation, project delivery requirements, and related corporate policies, procedures, programmes, and tools.
- Guide project managers and directors on the application of HSSEQ requirements within project delivery, including HSSEQ‑related updates to Our Way in WSP Canada.
- Promote consistent application of the HSSEQ Management System by reviewing sector‑level documentation, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and recommending practical improvements.
- Monitor sector needs, operational feedback, audit findings, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement of the HSSEQ Management System.
- Collaborate with HSSEQ teams, sector representatives, and support functions to resolve documentation and implementation issues.
- Advise on quality and HSSEQ risks, including supplier performance, documentation gaps, process deviations, and management system implementation challenges.
- Support internal HSSEQ training, guidance materials, communication tools, documentation reviews, implementation monitoring, and assurance activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, HSSE, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in HSSE and/or Quality management, including experience supporting HSSE, Quality, or integrated management systems.
- Strong understanding of HSSEQ assurance and control principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience developing, implementing, and improving HSSEQ programmes, tools, documentation, and training.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and collaborate effectively across functions in a client‑driven environment.
- Bilingualism in French and English is required.
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
