Role

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are seeking a talented Senior Advanced Quality Engineer to join our Product Quality team, responsible for ensuring product quality during the development and launch phases. This role requires an experienced quality professional with a strong background in product development processes and manufacturing, along with solid structured problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ideally, this individual has previous experience with pumping, hydraulic, electromechanical or related products.

This position reports directly to the Advanced Quality Manager.

Responsibilities

Drive quality planning activities across all phases of New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring robust design and manufacturing processes from concept through production launch.

Lead APQP deliverables (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Validation) and coordinate PPAP execution to ensure production readiness.

Conduct design reviews (CAD models, specifications, engineering changes (ECNs)) to identify and mitigate product quality risks.

Support early identification and mitigation of product and process risks across the development lifecycle.

Lead product launch quality activities, ensuring production readiness and stability.

Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions using structured problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., 8D).

Who You Are
Basic Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and electromechanical systems.

5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment, including 1+ years in a senior or lead role.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with APQP tools (e.g., PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA).

Hands‑on involvement in new products and process validation.

ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

Registered or eligible for registration with APEGA or ASET is considered an asset.
