Quality Control Inspector at Gambles

At Gambles, you’ll be crucial to maintaining quality standards for our produce. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role includes performing inspections and supporting the ripening team. Your expertise in CFIA/USDA guidelines will ensure that our shipments meet the highest quality expectations for retail and food service customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Gambles’ quality specifications rigorously

• Perform quality assessments during inbound receiving

• Follow up on quality control for previously received items

• Conduct outbound checks for select customers

• Identify sub-par products for disposition daily

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in food science or agriculture

• Knowledge of CFIA grading standards preferred

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a warehouse

• Familiarity with PPE and Occupational Health and Safety Act
