Research & Technology QA Analyst

Elevate your career with NSB Omega as a Quality Assurance Analyst in support of a major Oil & Gas client in Calgary, AB.

Your role will focus on stewarding the Laboratory Quality Assurance System.

In this one-year role, you will assist the Quality Assurance Coordinator by overseeing quality control programs and preparing quality control samples. Additionally, you will evaluate testing accuracy and Performance Reports using statistical tools while troubleshooting any operational errors in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate quality control programs

• Prepare batches of quality control samples for testing

• Monitor test accuracy with statistical evaluations

• Compile and report Lab Performance Indicators

• Troubleshoot LIMS related operational errors

Requirements:

• P. Eng or ability to secure it pre-employment

• Degree in mechanical engineering is essential

• Strong grasp of regulatory industry procedures

• Relevant experience in data quality control methodologies

• Knowledge of downhole tools and materials science is beneficial
