Quality Assurance Technician

Position: Quality Assurance Technician at Gay Lea Foods
Become a Quality Assurance Technician at Gay Lea Foods, committed to ensuring food safety and excellence in dairy production. This full-time role requires in-depth knowledge of quality management systems.

In this role, you'll report to the QA Manager and focus on performing pre-operational inspections, conducting both microbiological and chemical tests, and ensuring that all products meet safety and quality standards. With at least three years' experience in the food industry, your skills will be critical in monitoring quality procedures and training production staff on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections and testing accurately

• Prepare necessary samples and buffers for analysis

• Check specifications of raw and finished products

• Document quality assurance findings comprehensively

• Work collaboratively with production on quality matters

Requirements:

• Minimum three years’ relevant experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or Microbiology

• Knowledge of HACCP and GMPs

• Proficient in Word and Excel

• Own transportation; flexible scheduling
