Make an impact as a Quality Engineering & Testing Manager to lead and strengthen quality engineering across the Digital Solutions practice. This role will establish practical testing standards, advance automation and AI-enabled testing, promote test-driven development and other shift-left quality practices, define risk-based assurance for vibe-coded and AI-generated software, support accessibility and compliance testing, coach delivery teams, and help implement new ways of working through MNP Digital's Client Zero initiative.

This is both a practice-building and client delivery role. The successful candidate will work closely with Delivery Excellence, Enterprise Architecture, Development, Business Analysis, Project Management, Security, and client teams to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. This includes close collaboration between developers and quality engineers on test-first design, automated unit testing, continuous feedback, and independent validation of code produced through natural-language prompting or AI coding assistants.

Quality engineering is central to predictable delivery, responsible innovation, and client confidence. This Manager will help MNP Digital improve delivery consistency, strengthen estimation, increase appropriate automation, reduce rework, and build a sustainable quality engineering capability across Digital Solutions. The role will also help the practice adopt practical AI-enabled, test-driven, and vibe-coding ways of working with appropriate human oversight and quality controls.

• Establish and continuously improve MNP Digital testing and quality engineering standards, methods, templates, quality gates, and reusable delivery assets.
• Build a Quality Engineering Community of Practice and coach Business Analysts, QA testers, Developers, Project Managers, and delivery leaders on practical testing approaches, including test-driven development, behaviour-driven development, automated unit testing, and shift-left quality practices.
• Define practical guidance for applying test-driven development across relevant technology stacks, including effective test design, code quality expectations, continuous integration, and appropriate measures of test coverage and maintainability.
• Establish minimum assurance requirements for vibe-coded and AI-generated solutions, including prompt and requirements traceability, independent test design, human code review, static analysis, dependency and licence review, secrets scanning, security testing, accessibility testing, and evidence-based release approval.
• Develop scalable automation frameworks and support responsible adoption of AI-enabled testing, including test generation, test data creation, regression automation, defect analysis, and quality reporting, with controls to verify AI-generated tests are meaningful, maintainable, and independent of the code-generation prompt.
• Assess current quality engineering and software development practices and identify opportunities to improve how teams work through test-first delivery, vibe coding, and practical use of AI, including through MNP Digital's Client Zero initiative.
• Pilot, evaluate, and scale AI-enabled testing, test-driven delivery, and controlled vibe-coding practices that improve productivity, consistency, knowledge reuse, defect prevention, defect analysis, reporting, and overall quality outcomes.
• Develop reusable accessibility and compliance testing practices, checklists, and reporting templates that can be applied consistently across client engagements, including public sector and regulated environments.
