This evening shift role requires hands-on vigilance and collaboration with diverse teams. You will inspect inbound products, monitor compliance with food safety regulations, and maintain meticulous records. Your expertise will help address quality concerns and implement corrective actions to uphold high standards in food processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality control inspections on raw materials and finished products
• Collaborate with Operations and Procurement teams for product adherence
• Maintain accurate reports and monitor environmental conditions
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and labeling
• Input and verify data in QA tracking systems
Requirements:
• Diploma in Biological, Chemical, or Food Sciences
• 6 months to 1 year in QC/QA in food processing
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long periods
• Strong communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Safe Food for Canadians Regulations
