In this contract position, you will collaborate with various departments including assembly, manufacturing, and shipping/receiving.
Your role will require you to verify part dimensions using precision measuring tools, initiate Nonconformance reports, and maintain communication with colleagues. A strong understanding of parts drawings and 2+ years in a similar QC role are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Protect health and safety at the work site
• Perform first article inspections for production runs
• Use precision tools like micrometers for measurements
• Identify and segregate Nonconformance reports
• Maintain calibration of measurement tools and equipment
Requirements:
• 2+ years in a quality control role
• Familiarity with hand inspection tools
• Understanding of GD&T and parts drawings
• Basic computer skills in MS Office
• Experience with specialized measuring instruments preferred
