At Brookfield Residential, we're seeking an experienced Carpenter & Quality Control Technician to ensure buildings meet specifications and safety codes. This position involves using tools for quality checks, daily audits, and collaborating with authorities. Your keen eye for detail and compliance will greatly impact our construction quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality checks during pre-backfill, framing, and mechanical stages
• Document quality control checks for managers and trades
• Coordinate with municipal authorities on compliance
• Follow and interpret blueprints or manager instructions
• Conduct daily audits on homes under construction
Requirements:
• 2 years of carpentry experience or apprenticeship
• Strong blueprint-reading and organizational skills
• Safety Training Certificates required
• Valid Driver's License needed for site travel
• Effective communication with all stakeholders
