This role is covering a leave of absence, with expected term of six months and with the possibility of extension. During this term, this Leasing Agent will be welcome and encouraged to apply for any permanent internal opportunities that may be available within our team. Leasing Responsibilities- Book appointments and show suites to potential tenants
- Assist with the processing of potential tenant applications
- Perform move-in, move-out, and interim unit inspections
- Deliver notices to tenants as required
- Open doors for assessors, realtors, and contractors
- Set viewing appointments with potential tenants
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and use a reliable vehicle for property visits (mileage reimbursed)
- Use a company-provided phone for work-related communication
- Provide administrative support to the Property Manager
- Post rental advertisements and assist with marketing vacant units
- Draft, review, and send professional letters, notices, and emails
- Organize and coordinate maintenance requests
- Take phone calls from on-site managers, owners, board members, and contractors
- Communicate professionally with owners, tenants, and contractors to ensure quality service
- Manage administrative tasks that are deadline-driven and maintain strong organizational skills
- Familiar with the Residential Tenancy Act
- A High School graduate with proficient computer skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Strong computer skills
- A multi-tasker who strives in an ever-changing environment of rental management
- Good at problem solving and dealing with conflict resolutions
- Able to work well alone and also an excellent team player
- 37.5 hour work week
- Full-time, weekday work
