SUMMARY OF

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Residential Leasing & Marketing Manager, you are a motivated and results-driven Residential Leasing Agent to support the successful lease-up of Royop’s new residential communities. You will help to drive occupancy, enhance resident experiences, and contribute to overall revenue goals.

Your prior experience in the full leasing cycle — from qualifying leads and conducting tours to closing leases and supporting move-ins is second to none. You are personable with a passion for turning prospects into happy residents.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Full Cycle Leasing:
  • Lead the full leasing process, from qualifying leads and conducting in-person or virtual tours to closing leases.
  • Build strong knowledge of floor plans, pricing, amenities, and neighborhood features to confidently present each community.
  • Manage leads and leasing activity in the CRM keeping data current and reliable.
  • Track and report on leasing performance, including conversions, appointments, and pipeline activity.
  • Keep online listings accurate, compelling, and up to date.
  • Support leasing campaigns by participating in open houses, on-site events, and promotions.
  • Guide applicants through the application process and prepare lease agreements with accuracy and care.
  • Prepare welcome packages and create a positive onboarding experience for every new resident.
Relationship Management:
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to support strong closing rates.
  • Respond quickly to phone, email, and online inquiries with timely, personalized follow-up.
  • Represent the project with professionalism when working with prospects, referral partners, and realtors.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Leasing Coordinator and Property Management team to ensure suites are ready and move-ins run smoothly.
WHAT YOU’LL HAVE Qualifications & Technical Skills
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, administration, real estate coordination. (residential preferred), and/or a related field.
  • Residential Real Estate License in Alberta is an asset. Willingness to complete RECA-approved courses to obtain licensing is encouraged.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience or ability to learn Customer Relationship Management Tools.
  • Prior experience with Yardi or Rentsync is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Residential Tenancy Act in Alberta.
  • Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
