Synergy Land & Environmental Services is seeking an Intermediate Archaeologist who thrives in field leadership roles. You will bring at least three years of experience and a solid educational background in Archaeology or Anthropology. Your expertise will include managing field programs, engaging with Indigenous communities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise archaeological field assessments

• Identify and catalog archaeological sites and traditional use areas

• Conduct reconnaissance and impact assessments

• Maintain health and safety standards on site

• Mentor junior staff and support project delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Archaeology or Anthropology

• 3+ years of field experience in BC and/or Alberta

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• First Aid & H2S certification

• Strong physical fitness and willingness to travel
