The Research Services Office is looking for a Research Grants Officer to manage both pre-award and post-award grant administration. Your work will involve advising faculty on funding opportunities and ensuring that grant applications comply with all requirements. This position requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment characterized by shifting priorities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise researchers on grant application timelines
• Ensure compliance for external grant submissions
• Prepare project setup packages for finance
• Maintain accurate records in the Research Management System
• Provide insights to improve grant administration processes
Requirements:
• Graduate degree or two years of related experience
• Solid understanding of grant administration policies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to facilitate information sessions
Utilize your skills to aid the University of Calgary's research community in achieving grant success.
