Drive impactful change as a Gender Research Volunteer in Kingston, Jamaica with Cuso International. Focus on LGBTQIA+ issues while analyzing research for advocacy initiatives.
In this volunteer role, your primary task will be to enhance the capabilities of Caribbean Vulnerable Communities (CVC) through in-depth research analysis. You will support advocacy efforts by reviewing and compiling insights from existing studies regarding the LGBTQIA+ community’s lived experiences. Collaboration with ECADE will further amplify the effectiveness of this work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed reviews of LGBTQIA+ related research
• Compile and analyze gender-responsive research findings
• Assist advocacy teams in leveraging research outcomes
• Work with civil society organizations for broader impact
• Provide ongoing support to CVC initiatives
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant fields such as social work or law
• At least 3 years of experience in gender equality
• Strong skills in data analysis and research techniques
• Proven collaborative experience in civil society
• Comprehensive understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues
