Hydrocarbon Laboratory Technician at AGAT

Contribute to analytical chemistry at AGAT Laboratories as a Hydrocarbon Laboratory Technician. This role requires instrument operation, data management, and quality assurance compliance during evening and weekend shifts.

AGAT Laboratories is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician A to perform essential lab duties. Candidates should possess a post-secondary degree in Chemistry or related experience. You will calibrate and maintain lab instruments, compile data accurately, and ensure adherence to quality guidelines while performing analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate instruments like GC-FID, GC-TCD, and GC-SCD

• Prepare samples and reagents as per instructions

• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments

• Compile, verify, and validate data records

• Document and report results promptly

Requirements:

• Chemical degree/diploma or equivalent experience

• Previous lab work experience is an asset

• Proficient in GC and general lab techniques

• Strong English communication skills

• Attention to detail and organizational skills
