This full-time position, reporting to the Senior Research Lead, involves analyzing next-generation sequencing data and assisting in building a scalable genomics data infrastructure. As a Bioinformatician, you will participate in cutting-edge research, comparing multiomics data while developing systems to ensure quality control and data integrity across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze cancer genomics data from sequencing technologies
• Build infrastructure to track patient samples and data
• Develop scalable relational databases for oncology data
• Collaborate with multiple research teams on projects
• Prepare technical documentation and assist in grant applications
Requirements:
• BSc or MSc in relevant fields
• Minimum 1 year research experience in bioinformatics
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL required
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and HPC clusters
• Strong communication and organizational skills
