Positioned within the Cumming School of Medicine, you will collaborate with a dedicated research team to develop a cutting-edge readmission risk prediction tool. Candidates should have a strong foundation in biostatistics and the ability to work with large health data sets. The focus will be on survival analysis, model calibration, and clinical utility assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead analyses for developing risk prediction models
• Implement advanced machine learning techniques such as gradient boosting
• Work extensively with population health data
• Publish research findings and contribute collaboratively
Requirements:
• Recent PhD in Biostatistics, Data Science, or related disciplines
• Solid track record of publications in healthcare research
• Skilled in statistical software like R or Python
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Background in kidney health research preferred but not required
Drive meaningful advancements in health research through statistical modeling and analysis at the University of Calgary.
