In this role within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, you will collaborate with faculty and researchers, providing bioinformatics training and analysis for various research initiatives. Your contributions will enhance studies in fields such as immunology, genetics, and microbiology. You'll also help in developing data analysis pipelines and participate in the academic writing process for future publications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with the Associate Dean for research support
• Offer bioinformatics training and consultation
• Analyze data and provide statistical tools
• Conduct library workshops for students and postdocs
• Contribute to grant writing and manuscript crafting
Requirements:
• A relevant master's degree required;
PhD is an asset
• Minimum of 5 years in a research role
• Proficiency in programming with Python or R
• Solid background in genetic analysis and proteomics
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities
