In this role, you'll join a forward-thinking team at the forefront of scientific research and engineering. You will also conduct both literature evaluations and engage with industry professionals to craft data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement severe natural hazard models
• Conduct thorough evaluations of scientific literature
• Write modular scientific code in Python for models
• Collaborate on calibrating and benchmarking model outputs
• Research and integrate new datasets for model enhancements
Requirements:
• BSc, MSc, or PhD in relevant scientific fields
• Proficiency in high-performance Python programming
• Deep knowledge of mathematical modelling techniques
• Experience in evaluating large datasets statistically
• Academic or industry involvement in related topics post-PhD
