Position: Temporary Bioinformatician/Data Scientist Role

This role supports faculty and research teams by delivering essential training and bioinformatics consultation. Engage in impactful projects that encompass areas like microbiomes and regenerative medicine. With a focus on developing applications and analysis pipelines, you will also collaborate on grant and publication efforts to advance scientific knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with faculty on bioinformatics support

• Train research staff and students in bioinformatics

• Execute bioinformatic analysis on research data

• Create statistical tools for biological research

• Support co-authorship on research publications
Requirements:

• Master's degree needed;
PhD preferable

• At least 5 years of research experience required

• Expertise in Python and statistical software R

• Familiarity with genomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
