Advance cancer research as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Calgary. Focus on immunology, tumor evolution, and developing novel therapeutic strategies in multiple myeloma.
The H. Lee Lab seeks a dedicated Postdoctoral Scholar to support its mission in the Department of Oncology. You will leverage banked tumor samples and immune cell assays to explore the relationship between immune pressures and cancer progression. A strong background in immunology and functional genomics is essential for your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute experiments involving gene knock-in/out techniques
• Conduct in vitro and in vivo tumor assays
• Engage in scientific literature review
• Contribute to manuscripts and presentations
• Provide mentorship in wet-lab techniques
Requirements:
• PhD in a relevant field (immunology or cancer biology)
• Strong knowledge of cancer biology principles
• Proven publication success within five years
• Experience with PCR, ELISA, and Western blot
• Familiarity with mouse models and CRISPR methods
