Position: Full-Time Lab Technician - Cancer Research
Become a Lab Technician at the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute, contributing to transformative cancer research. Engage in vital immunology experiments and advanced molecular biology projects on a full-time basis.

This fixed-term position offers a chance to work closely with experienced researchers in a dynamic lab environment. Candidates need a Master’s degree in immunology or related fields and a minimum of two years in an applicable laboratory. Key tasks include working with tissue cultures, performing ELISA assays, and supporting flow cytometry experiments. You will also play a critical role in training junior team members and maintaining lab organization and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and support mammalian cultures and assays

• Process primary samples and engage in immune-cell profiling

• Conduct molecular techniques including PCR and Western blotting

• Assist with mouse model training and monitoring

• Organize lab equipment and maintain safety protocols

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in immunology or similar

• Two years minimum experience in lab research

• Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques

• Proficiency in flow cytometry and cloning methods

• Open to learning and working with animal models
