This role requires a dedicated individual to support groundbreaking research in the Department of Oncology. You will utilize banked tumor samples and immune cell assays to study how immune pressures influence cancer progression. A robust background in immunology and functional genomics is crucial for your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute gene knock-in/out experimental techniques
• Conduct in vitro and in vivo tumor assays
• Engage in comprehensive literature reviews
• Contribute to research manuscripts and presentations
• Mentor junior lab members in wet-lab skills
Requirements:
• PhD in immunology, cancer biology, or related field
• Strong grasp of cancer biology principles
• Track record of publications within five years
• Experience with PCR, ELISA, and Western blot techniques
• Familiarity with mouse models and CRISPR applications
