Position: Research Assistant for National Health Study
Become a crucial part of the health research team as a Research Assistant in a national respiratory virus study. This part-time role at the University of Calgary emphasizes participant engagement and data management.

Reporting to the Research Manager, this position offers a fixed-term appointment at approximately six months, possibly extendable depending on funding. Responsibilities include coordinating team communications, creating presentations, and performing essential administrative tasks related to research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle administrative duties for ongoing research projects

• Facilitate communication with internal and external team members

• Develop presentations for various research forums

• Recruit participants and oversee the informed consent process

• Collect accurate data from study participants as per protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• At least 2 years of related experience

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

• Experience with participant recruitment and research ethics

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
