Become a Research Assistant with the University of Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine, focusing on the PREPARED study of respiratory viruses. This part-time position includes participant recruitment and administrative support.
This role is fixed-term for approximately six months and requires interaction with researchers and research participants. Reporting to the Research Manager, you will assist with data collection and project management while ensuring adherence to ethical practices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general administrative duties related to research
• Establish communication with team members and stakeholders
• Create research presentations for meetings and conferences
• Recruit participants and manage their consent process
• Collect data while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data capture tools
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
Contribute to important research initiatives and gain valuable experience in health research at UCalgary.
