Reporting directly to the Fluids Laboratory Supervisor, this position is crucial for maintaining high standards in laboratory analyses. You will be responsible for conducting tests on samples, ensuring accurate data entry into the system while adhering to client deadlines. This role also includes training junior technicians and upholding safety and quality protocols in the lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory tests in accordance with established standards
• Assist clients while managing project schedules efficiently
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Oversee training for new lower-level technicians
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• High school diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Five years of related experience in laboratory settings
• In-depth knowledge of analytical testing procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and lab software
• Strong communication and presentation skills
Utilize your laboratory skills and contribute to the success of Core Laboratories in Calgary.
