SCAL Lab Technician

Position: SCAL Lab Technician at AGAT Laboratories
AGAT Laboratories seeks a detail-oriented SCAL Lab Technician for rotating shifts. Drive laboratory excellence by conducting core analysis experiments and maintaining equipment.

In this role, you will support laboratory operations in a full-service environment known for its diverse scientific expertise. As a SCAL Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing specialized experiments, ensuring data integrity, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment effectively. Flexibility for day, evening, and occasional overnight shifts is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct SCAL experiments for evaluating reservoir rock properties

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment for accurate data

• Ensure the integrity of data from experiments

• Apply problem-solving skills for troubleshooting challenges

• Prepare samples using hand tools and contribute to lab organization

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends

• Post-secondary education in Chemistry or equivalent experience

• Previous lab experience preferred, training will be provided

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Attention to detail and organizational skills
