The University of Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine seeks a Research Coordinator for its Department of Oncology. This pivotal role supports projects aimed at improving health services for individuals with life-limiting diseases. Candidates will manage project coordination, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, and facilitate stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage project meetings, taking minutes
• Assist researchers with contracts and agreements
• Develop study protocols and recruitment materials
• Train clinical staff on research protocols
• Conduct data collection and analysis using NVivo
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in health-related field
• 3-5 years of research experience
• Knowledge of Alberta health ethics and policies
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative methods
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
