The Yang Laboratory within the Department of Medical Genetics is seeking a dynamic researcher ready to design and execute projects targeting brain development and aging mechanisms. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent research within lab thematic areas

• Write manuscripts for publication and assist in grants

• Present findings at various academic gatherings

• Mentor undergraduate and graduate research students

• Collaborate with other researchers to promote a supportive lab culture

Requirements:

• PhD in a relevant discipline (obtained in past 5 years)

• Proven research track record with peer-reviewed publications

• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques

• Familiarity with single-cell transcriptomics is a plus

• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously
