Calgary Laboratory Technician - PVT Lab

AGAT Laboratories seeks a Laboratory Technician for our PVT Lab in Calgary, Alberta, focusing on advanced laboratory services and experiments. Elevate your career in a dynamic lab environment.

This position offers a vital second-level role within the lab, directly supporting the Laboratory Manager. You will conduct various PVT experiments, manage fluid samples, and ensure high operational standards through equipment maintenance and calibration. Accurate data management is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute PVT experiments, including single stage flash

• Prepare and maintain fluid samples following protocols

• Operate PVT cells and high-temperature equipment

• Regularly calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory tools

• Create reports and validate experimental data

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma or Science Degree preferred

• 0-5 years in a laboratory setting

• Ideal: experience in oil or PVT labs

• Skills in MS Office and LIMS needed

• Ability to consistently lift more than 25 pounds
