The Indigenous Research Coordinator position offers a rich opportunity to foster Indigenous research projects at the University of Calgary. You will collaborate with researchers and provide critical administrative assistance to the Indigenous Research Support Team. Key initiatives include managing Indigenous research data, facilitating training, and contributing to community-building efforts across the university.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Indigenous research data initiatives within IRST
• Assist Indigenous Research Data Working Group with administrative tasks
• Conduct literature reviews on Indigenous research ethics
• Develop resources for Indigenous research data governance
• Facilitate consultations regarding Indigenous research data considerations
Requirements:
• Minimum undergraduate degree and 2-3 years related experience
• Knowledge of Indigenous research guidelines and ethics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with research data management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting
