The Alberta Centre for Toxicology is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Analyst for a one-year fixed term, with the potential for extension. You will conduct routine chemical tests, calibrate instruments, and maintain quality control. This role requires keen attention to detail, independence, and the ability to work under pressure in a biohazard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine chemical tests following SOPs
• Perform instrument calibration and troubleshooting
• Prepare and validate laboratory solutions
• Review and document data analysis before reporting
• Maintain an organized and equipped laboratory workspace
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in chemistry or relatable field
• One year of experience in chemical analysis
• Proficient in technical English communication
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
