Part-Time Research Assistant Oncology at UCalgary

The University of Calgary is seeking a part-time Research Assistant in the Department of Oncology. This role is integral for assisting in research through analytical support and report generation.

In this Fixed Term Recurring position, you will report to the Principal Investigator and offer support to the research team. You will concentrate on tasks such as data assembly, producing presentations, and following ethical guidelines for research. Strong analytical skills paired with the ability to communicate clearly will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering and submitting research ethics applications

• Foster effective relationships within the research team

• Interview participants and manage consent documentation

• Create reports and presentations on research findings

• Compile statistical data for publications and presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in health sciences, statistics or related discipline

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent report writing and organizational skills

• Familiarity with research compliance and ethics

• Willing to face new challenges and learn continuously
