This isn’t your average internship. At BASF, you’ll:

  Conduct field trials to evaluate canola hybrids, seed technology, and agronomic practices — all aimed at developing hybrid-specific recommendations for Western Canada.

Students will be hired and employed through a third-party contracting agency - Raise Recruiting. Opportunities are based on business needs at our sites.

• How to conduct agronomic field trials and analyze crop performance.
• The practical application of seed technology and hybrid development.
• Field scouting techniques and crop health diagnostics.
• Leadership and problem‑solving skills in dynamic field conditions.

• Conduct field trials with the Agronomic Excellence team.
• Assist with all phases of crop cycle activities — from land prep and planting to harvest.
• Monitor field and research plots, collect data, and analyze results.
• Supervise casual employees as needed.
• Travel regularly within your assigned territory for field scouting and diagnostics.

• You’re currently enrolled in an agriculture or related degree program.
• You’re passionate about agronomy, hybrid development, and field research.
• You’re a strong communicator, organized, and ready to learn.
• You have a valid driver’s license and are open to travel.
• You’re familiar with agricultural equipment and field research practices (preferred but not required).
• You’re detail-oriented and adaptable to changing field conditions.

To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program and returning to studies following the internship. Applications from individuals who have already graduated will not be considered.
