Embark on a transformative journey as a Postdoctoral Scholar in EDIA at the University of Calgary. Engage in vital research and analysis to bridge equity gaps in healthcare.
Starting November 1, 2026, this position in the Department of Medicine focuses on collaborating with Dr. Shannon Ruzycki to explore key equity and diversity issues. You will manage a variety of research methods, from surveys to program evaluations, ensuring comprehensive project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage qualitative and quantitative research
• Conduct interviews, analyzing data critically
• Collaborate on environmental scans and visualization
• Handle ethics board processes independently
• Draft and submit reports and manuscripts for publication
Requirements:
• PhD in Social Sciences or allied field
• Familiarity with anti-oppression frameworks
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Strong project management skills
• Previous post-doctoral experience is beneficial
